The European Finance Association Annual Meetings have recently attracted over 700 renowned financial economists from top business schools and universities from around the world. In a highly competitive process the papers accepted for presentation are selected by a review panel consisting of more than 600 academics from top universities around the world. This stringent selection process ensures the high quality of the finance research presented at the conference.
The conference hosts 81 sessions over two-and-a-half days, includes a doctoral tutorial and serves as the venue for the formal EFA Annual Meeting. The conference comprises several social events that are excellent opportunities to connect with colleagues and exchange ideas.
The EFA Annual Meeting is held by different universities each year. WU Vienna University of Economics and Business is proud to host the 42nd Annual Meeting taking place from August 19-22, 2015 at Campus WU in Vienna. While Vienna is often referred to as the world’s capital of music, it is more generally a cultural center in the heart of Europe with amazing art exhibitions, outstanding architecture, and a vivid intellectual scene. At the same time, it has successfully established itself as the leading economic center in the CEE region.
